A name, phone number, or address entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that produces the result. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the content of your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems create routine logs such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review aggregate activity to maintain the service and understand readership. Cookies or related technology can support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
Information supports operation, error correction, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
The reference links to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. The privacy terms of those operators govern material submitted after leaving this site, including information sent to sponsored results.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information when a valid legal process requires disclosure and otherwise do not share it.
Protecting Information
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described above. There are no visitor accounts, passwords, or personal profiles on this site.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor’s personal information. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
The New Jersey Data Privacy Act, P.L. 2023, c. 266, N.J.S.A. 56:8-166.4 et seq., can provide rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain, or opt out of certain processing by covered controllers, subject to its exceptions. Because we retain little information, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Records maintained by a New Jersey, county, or local custodian are outside our control; direct a correction or removal request to that custodian.
